BRUTTIUM. Hipponion. Circa 350-280 BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.55 g, 7 h). [ΔΙΟΣ] Laureate head of Zeus to right; to left, monogram. Rev. EIΠΩΝΙΕΩ[Ν] Amphora; to right, kerykeion. HN Italy 2248. SNG Copenhagen 1832. Very rare. Areas of weakness and with traces of cleaning and smoothing, otherwise, nearly very fine.
